Cross Country Relay
We took a team of children from years 4,5 and 6 to this event held at Gillingham School. The children had to compete in teams of 4 to run the tricky 600m cross country course around the school rugby pitches. The runners gave their all and there were a lot of exhausted faces at the end of each lap.
Results were Y4 Boys – 1st, Y4 Girls – 2nd, Y5 Boys – 3rd, Y6 Boys – 2nd, Y6 Girls – 3rd which gave us an overall result of joint 2nd (even though we only entered 5 of the 6 races).
