Welcome to

Our vision: “Direct my footsteps according to your word,” Psalm 119:133, is kept alive through the imagery of footprints throughout the school as we strive to live out our Christian values through God’s word. “Everything is possible, just believe!” Mark 9:23 & Matthew 19:26 sums up the essence of our school which is a place where we value every child as an individual and develop children academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually within a happy and nurturing environment. Together we give our children a place to grow their hopes and dreams for the future.

Welcome

Sarah Bullmore, Headteacher

On behalf of myself, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to St Mary the Virgin CE Primary School.

Children, parents, staff and governors have enthusiastically worked to develop this exciting and rewarding community. We understand that children learn best when they are happy and secure and so we create a supportive, safe and stimulating learning environment. We believe in working in partnership with you, as your child’s first educators, to achieve the very best for your child.

I hope that this website will answer many of the questions you have. If you would like any more information please contact us and come for a visit. We look forward to you and your child being part of our school and nursery.

We are very proud of the success we have achieved and we look forward to your involvement in making this the community you want for your child.
