Job Vacancy – Assistant Cook

We have a vacancy for an Assistant Cook to work 16 hours per week from January 2021 in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals, general washing up and cleaning.  This job is term time only and is paid at Dorset Grade 3 SCP 2-4 £18198-£18933 pro rata (43.51 weeks per year).

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified person who is enthusiastic, well-motivated, can work well as part of a team and is able to use their own initiative.  Previous experience in catering would be desirable.  The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive team.

Job Vacancy – Midday Assistant (Temporary)

We have a vacancy for a temporary Midday Assistant to start as soon as possible to work 6 hours 40 minutes per week, term time only. Starting pay is £9.25 per hour.

This opportunity is a fixed term contract initially for one term but could be extended depending on Government guidelines on social distancing measures.

A knowledge of First Aid would be an advantage, although training will be available.

Applicants should be in sympathy with the aims and ethos of a Church of England School.
