Football – North Dorset Tournament
We took the Year 5 / 6 football team to the North Dorset Tournament held at Gillingham School. The first round was a mini league between 6 teams, we won 2 matches and drew 3 but crucially didn’t let in any goals meaning that we topped our group on goal difference. This meant we got to the final where we played against Motcombe Primary. In a fairly even match Motcombe managed to snatch a goal and held on to win 1-0 meaning that we finished as runners-up. This does mean though, that along with Motcombe, we now go to the county finals in Bournemouth to represent North Dorset.
