Girls’ Football Team
The girls football team has had a busy week with a tournament and a match this week. On Tuesday we took part in the North Dorset (Gillingham area) Skills Festival. This involved various football activities such as dribbling games or penalty challenge and then matches but in teams mixed up between all the schools. On Thursday we had our first match in the Girls’ Davison Trophy. In a very exciting game we eventually lost 2-1 to Stalbridge. As this is a league style competition that does not mean we are out as we will have 4 more games to play over the autumn and winter. In both event the girls showed excellent team spirit and perseverance.
