Children at St Mary’s experience a broad and varied curriculum from our Shooting Stars Nursery to Venus Class, Year 6. Topics are engaging and fun and the children learn about some incredibly exciting curriculum areas, take part in amazing events throughout the year and contribute fully to all aspects of our school.
Every Friday we have a celebration collective worship where the children are awarded certificates for their behaviour, effort and attitude. The certificates issued include:
- The Great 8 Learning Behaviours Award
- Vision and Values Award
All of our classes are named after planets in our Solar System. This was the idea of the original children who attended the school when it first opened in 2004.
